Addison, a son of Branco of the Ramiro Z bloodline, received his preliminary approval with the Belgian Warmblood Breeding Association as a three year old in 2003. Addison was the high scoring colt of 2000, high scoring yearling of 2001, and high scoring two year old of 2002. In 2004, Addison successfully completed the 100-day Stallion Test – fulfilling his performance requirements and achieving his permanent breeding license. Addison possess lovely, correct conformation – inheriting his sire’s long neck and short back– and beautiful, naturally rhythmical gaits. Addison is blessed with a kind disposition and a calm, even, yet playful temperament.

Due to a family situation, Addison was home bound during the summer of 2005 and only lightly shown in 2006. In 2007, Addison, along with his very rusty owner and trainer Jennifer Hallmann, competed in the Second Year Green Hunter Division of the Michigan Hunter Jumper Association. The summer was filled with fun and ribbons. Attending ten of eighteen possible competitions, Addison was Champion seven times and reserve champion
twice earning the 2007 Year End Second Year Green Hunter Championship.. Addison became a show favorite – with his excellent jumping form and consistent performances he created his own fan club. His new friends made it a point to visit and fuss over him at his stall, and left ‘offerings’ of treats and photos of the previous day on a regular basis. In addition, Addison also lent his services to Lisa Schillace, an amateur adult. The team pooled their skills to fill a Limit Medal Qualifying class at Win-A-Gin Farms in Metamora, Michigan. The pair, without warm-up or prior show ring experience as a team, cantered around the equitation jumps to win the blue ribbon qualifying them for the year end medal ride off. Lisa and Addison returned to the ring to claim the 2007 MHJA Limit Medal Ride-off Championship. Look for Addison in Florida during 2008.

Addison’s first foal crop is coming four in 2008. He is passing on his wonderful temperament, natural rhythm, long neck, and size. Visit his get on
