Membership Benefits - Lifetime Achievement Award

The BWP/NAD is proud to host several awards programs for its membership. To be eligible, a horse must be a registered Belgian Warmblood, either studbook or foal book, and owned by a member in good standing. Points or scores required for the Lifetime Achievement Awards are accumulated over the lifetime of the horse. There is no limit for obtaining the necessary requirements. The BWP/NAD also sponsors a USDF All Breeds Award for BWP registered horses. Contact the USDF for details on requirements for the ALl Breed Awards. To be eligible, you must also be a member of the USDF

Lifetime Achievement Award - Certificate of Merit

Eventing: Earn 15 points at Novice or 10 points at Training and above or complete three 3 phase events recognized by the USCTA.
Dressage: Obtain four scores of 55% or better at Training or First Level from three different judges.
Hunter: Earn 40 points under three different judges, 4-H and Pony Club Shows include.d
Jumper: Earn 20 points in competitions.

CERT OF MERIT - will receive a Medal (either dressage horse or jumping horse). Ribbon will say BWP/NAD LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT CERTIFICATE OF MERIT then the DIVISION

Lifetime Achievement Award - Bronze

Eventing (three phase): Earn 5 points at Prelim or above or 20 points at Training. Two points for each completion at Prelim.
Dressage: Obtain four scores of 55% or better and 4 scores of 58% or better at Training or First Level from four different judges.
Hunter: Earn 80 points under four different judges, of which 40 must be in recognized shows. At least 60 points must be over fences.
Jumper: Earn 60 points, 30 of which must be earned over courses of 3'6" or higher.

BRONZE – will receive a Saddle Pad (either Dressage or All-Purpose) with the BWP LOGO LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT BRONZE then the DIVISION

Lifetime Achievement Award - Silver

Eventing: Earn 10 points at Prelim or above. Two points awarded for each competition at Prelim or above.
Dressage: Obtain four scores of 65% or better at Second Level or four scores of 60% or better at Third Level under four different judges.
Hunter: Earn 150 points under five different judges, of which 75 must be at ASHA recognized shows and at least 120 must be over fences.
Jumper: Earn 120 points of which 60 must be earned over courses with fences of 4' or higher.

SILVER – will receive a Halter with name place BWP/NAD SILVER AWARD then the DIVISION

Lifetime Achievement Award - Gold

Eventing: Earn 20 points at Prelim or 10 points at 3-Day Intermediate or above. Two points are awarded for each competition at Prelim or above.
Dressage: Obtain four scores of 65% or better at Fourth Level or above from four different judges
Hunter: Earn 300 points under six different judges, 150 must be at ASHA recognized shows. At least 240 points must be over fences.
Jumper: Earn 200 points of which 100 must be earned on courses with fences of at least 4'3".

GOLD – will receive a All-in-One Triple Crown sheet with the BWP Logo and lettering LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT GOLD then the DIVISION

Points are awarded as follows:
Recognized Show: 1st=12, 2nd=10, 3rd=8, 4th=6, 5th=4, 6th=2
Unrecognized Show:
1st=6, 2nd=5, 3rd=4, 4th=3, 5th=2, 6th=1

* Recognized shows are those sanctioned by national or state organizations such as USEF, USDF, USEA, your state Dressage association, or Hunter/Jumper association, 4-H, district shows, and regional organizations.
* Results must be documented either by the show secretary's signature, copy of the first page of a dressage test signed by the judge, or the results published in The Chronicle or its equivalent.
* Horses must compete under their registered name or notification of show name with $5 fee must be sent to the Awards Secretary before the competion.

  The BWP/NAD sponsors many events for its members and their horses each year. Individual breed classes are sponsored at major breed shows and
a USDF All Breeds Award is available for BWP registered horses owned by active members.
