Blue Bayou B's excellent breeding and robust good looks achieved him national acclaim as a foal. Blue Bayou B held the top score nationally, with a score of 81, for several years and still stands as one of the top ranked foals ever by the BWP/NAD. Blue's parentage includes four international jumping stallions with Olympic participation. As a black 17.2 h stallion, Blue possesses charisma, intelligence and a sweet demeanor that qualifies him as the perfect sire, breeding appealing performers for both amateurs and professional riders. Blue's conformation and brilliant gaits have also been recognized by the USDF Breeding program as he has received local, regional and national awards. Blue received his BWP stallion provisional approval in 2005. He was started by trainer Stefanie Collier, 1998 National AGA Rookie of the Year. Blue Bayou B will be pursuing a career in dressage starting in the spring of 2008.
