The BWP/NAD is proud to host several awards programs for its membership. To be eligible, a horse must be a registered or approved Belgian Warmblood, either studbook or foal book, and owned by a member in good standing. Achievement Awards are offered and Individual breed classes are sponsored at major breed shows. The BWP/NAD also sponsors a USDF All Breeds Award for BWP registered horses. You must be a member of the USDF. Contact the USDF for details on requirements for the All Breed Awards. To be eligible for awards the $25 award nomination fee must be paid for each year when you are joining/renewing membership. Achievement Awards Points or scores required for the Achievement Awards are accumulated over the lifetime of the horse. There is no limit for obtaining the necessary requirements. A horse can only earn each award in a division once. To be eligible for awards the $25 award nomination fee must be paid for each year you are submitting points when joining/renewing membership. If a horse earns more than one award in a year they will be awarded the highest award earned. Points must be submitted by November 30th for prizes sent in Feb/Mar. Achievement Award prizes include a certificate and the following: Gold Award - Summer Dress Sheet with the BWP Logo and lettering Achievement Gold then the Division Silver Award - Halter with name plate BWP/NAD Silver Award then the division Bronze Award - Saddle Pad (Either Dressage or All-Purpose) with the BWP Logo and lettering Achievement Bronze then the Division Certificate of Merit - Rosette with the lettering BWP/NAD Achievement Certificate of Merit then the Division

* Recognized shows are those sanctioned by national organizations such as USEF, USDF, USEA, or USHJA.
* Results are published on the national organization website. If you wish to submit your results directly from the show secretary, please ask for an official print-out.
* It is preferred that horses compete under their registered name. If the horse is competing under a name other than the registered BWP name, the Awards Secretary must be notified at the beginning of the show year.
