Coconut Grove is the FIRST thoroughbred stallion in history to be licensed by the Am. Hanoverian and the Am. Holsteiner Assocs. It is rare to find a TB stallion with such an impressive Grand Prix Show jumping career. In addition to winning three consecutive Nat'l Show Jumping Championships 1997-99, he was the Best So. American Horse (Team 5th) - 1999 Pan Am Games, Champ. - Bolivarianos Games, Res. Champ - Centro American Games and Champ. - several World Cup Qualifiers. Coconut Grove was equally successful competing in the U.S., placing 3rd in the prestigious $100,000 U.S. Open Jumper Championships and 6th in the WEF Challenge Cup GP both in 2000. Coconut Grove ranked 3rd - 1999-2000 Am. Grand Prix Rookie of the Year Standings. He qualified for all major show jumping events; the Olympics, World Cup, Am. Invitational and the Am. Grand Prix Assoc. Championships. In 2005, he was selected for the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.

Coconut Grove has a strong lineage to produce jumpers, proven by the fact that his sister, Satra, was also a member of the Nat'l Show Jumping Team for Colombia. Coconut Grove descends from the Bold Ruler / Damascus cross, prolific jumper lineage, which also produced the legendary G.P. Jumper sire, Napur.

Described as "amazing" when referred to in editorial columns, Coconut Grove has proven an ability to jump from difficult distances and clear fences. He is very agile, has abundant scope and his jumping technique is exceptional.
