Ocordo is by KWPN Keur stallion Olympic Concorde, one of the most successful and prodigious sons of the fabulous sire Voltaire. Voltaire topped off a stellar career with a victory in the Grand Prix of Berlin and was the number 2 in the World Breeding Rankings for Showjumping Sires in 1996.

Olympic Concorde won the Grand Prix of Nordrhein-Westfalen at Aken and they were Champion of the Netherlands in 1994, 2nd in the Grand Prix of Amsterdam, 2nd at Darmstadt, 2nd at Lanaken, and 2nd in Helsinki and Gothenburg. During the end of the 1990's, Concorde was the sire with the most offspring at the World Breeding Championships for young horses. In the year 2001 the "preferent" Concorde has proved himself to be an absolute top sire of international sporthorses. Concorde's dam, Flyer, is by the legendary Marco Polo, one of the most influential Dutch stallions in breeding and jumping.

Ocordo is out of Katosca, a daughter of Joost out of a mare by Abgar. Katosca is the full sister to the Aachen Grand Prix winner Osta Carpets Carrera. The KWPN preferent stallion Joost was a top progenitorof show jumpers and was ranked highly on the index with many international offspring including Hay Guy, Palfrenier, Ommen, VIP, Attentz B, Satchmo, Jongger II, and Germus R. He had several KWPN approved sons and brought a breeding value of 148.

Ocordo competed at the FEI levels in jumping with placings at 1.55m. He has produced top quality offspring for the RPSI. Ocordo passed away in 2009.
