Palladio's Dutch Warmblood pedigree combines many famous European horses into one colorful and talented stallion. Palladio's remarkable willingness became apparent early in his training and has contributed to wonderful show results even with limited showing.
2008 was a spectacular show year with Palladio winning the $10K International Hunter Derby at the Evergreen Classic show. At that show he also won the $3500 Bunny Coffin Memorial Hunter Classic, finished Reserve Champion in the Regular Conformation Hunters and was awarded Best Overall Hunter of the entire show. Other 2008 wins include top ribbons in the Regular Working Hunters, Champion Thunderbird 3'6" Hunters, and Champion Pre-Green Hunter and winner Zone 9 Pre-Green Equitation finals with his amateur owner.
Palladio's earlier show successes spanned many arenas with wins in the Preliminary/Level 5 Jumpers, top Regular Working Hunter finishes, and schooling 2nd/3rd level dressage. In 2002 he was champion stallion for the Cosequin/USDF Northwest Series finals. Palladio completed his 100 Day Stallion Testing in 2004 finishing sixth overall with a super score of 111.97, and ranking fifth in dressage (108.10) and sixth in jumping (116.26).
Palladio's produces fabulous offspring that inherit his wonderful mind, superior topline and amazing jumping technique. His foals are beginning their show careers with winners in Jumpers, Hunters and Eventing. (Poetic CF-Champion Beginning Jumpers and winner in the Baby Green and Open Hunter rings, Paddington CF, winner August Woodside Event, Sr Novice and winner October Ram Tap Open Novice.)
For 2009, Palladio is approved for breeding with BWP/NAD, ISR/OLDNA, RPSI. Additionally, Register A is available for KWPN mares and single breeding permits are available for GOV.
