Congratulations are in order for several member horses for 2009!
The WBFSH has released the stallion rankings for 2009 and for Jumper sires two BWP stallions made the top five. Nabab de Reve finished the year ranked #5 and once again the #1 jumper sire in the world is Darco.
BWP/NAD is excited to announce that several Belgian Warmblood stallions standing in the US are among the top of the BWP jumping index.
These include the following:
Vancouver D'Auvray ranks 5th with an index of 131
Triomphe de Muze ranks 6th with an index of 130
Obourg ranks 7th with an index of 128
Orlando ranks 11th with an index of 119
How exciting for US breeders to have these proven producers available for breeding on US soil.
BWP horses made a strong showing among the USEF final results for 2009. The following are some of their National rankings.
-Darco (pictured in the header) again ranked as 1st among Jumper sires
-Cunningham BWP approved stallion ranked 10th Nationally for the Regular Working Hunters and 2nd Nationally for the Regular Conformation Hunters
-Tabloid finished the year 6th Nationally for the Amateur Owner Hunters 18-35
-Sapphire finished the year ranked 1st Nationally for $25,000 plus Jumpers (Grand Prix)
-Tarco Van Ter Moude finished the year ranked 2nd Nationally for $25,000 plus Jumpers (Grand Prix) -U-2 finished the year 1st Nationally for Amateur Owner Jumpers
-True Love finished the year ranked 4th Nationally for Junior Jumpers
-VDL Dundee finished the year ranked 1st Nationally for 6 Year Old Jumpers
-Balta 'Czar-BWP approved stallion ranked 18th Nationally for Hunter Breeding sires
