Wonderboy - by Darco, #1 Jumping Sire in the World!

Wonderboy was born in Belgium. As a 4-year-old he started competing in France, then he was exported to Chile in mid 2004. In November 2004 he was exported to Argentina where he competed in show jumping and also bred at 5 well-known sport horse farms. In 2005 at the age of 6, he competed very successfully jumping 1.20 m, 1.30 m and 1.40 m classes. In 2006, at the early age of 7, he started competing in 1.50 m classes. He finished in 2nd place at a CSIO - W **** and in December 2006 he obtained the individual bronze medal at the Argentinean National Championship, ending the last day at 1.60 m, jumping in an indoor.

In January 2007 Wonderboy was exported from Argentina to the US and competed successfully in Ocala, FL, Culpeper and Upperville, VA, Lexington, KY, Beacon Hill, NJ, and Lake Placid, NY. In May at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, he was double clear in a 1.40 m derby, jumped an open 1.45 m class (dropping one rail), jumped a CSI*** and qualified to compete in the Pan-American Games in Rio. In June, Wonderboy was second (with a double clear on the course and the jump-off ) in the Amateur Owner Grand Prix at Beacon Hill, NJ. In July, he competed in the Pan-American Games in Rio on the Ecuadorian team. He was the youngest horse at the event (only 8 years, 3 months). He jumped double clear on the Training Competition.

Breeders from Argentina loved his progeny and ordered more doses. In September he was collected at Hill Top Farm, MD. and 68 doses were sent for the 2007 - 2008 season. In November 2007, Wonderboy was exported to Ecuador (South America) for 2 months to develop the ecuadorian sport horse breeding, CDE (Caballo Deportivo Ecuatoriano).
