Coconut
Grove is the FIRST thoroughbred stallion in history to be granted
a breeding license by the Am. Hanoverian and Am. Holsteiner
Associations. It is rare to find a TB stallion with such an
impressive Grand Prix Show Jumping career. In addition to winning
3 consecutive National Show Jumping Championships 1997-99,
he was the Best So. American Horse (Team 5th) - 1999 Pan Am
Games, Champ. - Bolivarianos Games, Res. Champ. - Centro American
Games and Champ. - several World Cup Qualifiers. Coconut Grove
was equally successful competing in the U.S., placing 3rd in
the prestigious $100,000 U.S. Open Jumper Championships and
6th in the WEF Challenge Cup GP both in 2000. Coconut Grove
ranked 3rd - 1999-2000 Am. Grand Prix Rookie of the Year Standings.
He qualified for all major show jumping events; the Olympics,
World Cup, Am. Invitational and the Am. Grand Prix Assoc.Championships.
In 2005, he was selected for the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding
Program.
Coconut
Grove has strong lineage to produce jumpers, proven by the
fact that his sister, Satra, was also a member of the Nat'l
Show Jumping Team for Colombia. Coconut Grove descends from
the Bold Ruler/Damascus cross, prolific jumper lineage, which
also produced the legendary G.P. Jumper sire, Napur. Described
as "amazing" when referred to in editorial columns,
Coconut Grove has proven an ability to jump from difficult
distances and clear fences. He is very agile, has abundant
scope and his jumping technique is exceptional. He is constantly
being sought after by the Germans, Dutch and French. Coconut
