DEJA BLUE B’s sire Ferro was known
as the ‘Black Pearl’ of the KWPN. He won team Silver
at the 1998 World
Equestrian Games, 1999 European Championships and the 2000 Olympic
Games.
Ferro and rider Coby van Baalen posted a personal best of 80+%
in their kür
to earn a Silver Medal at the World Cup Finals in ‘s Hertogenbosch
behind
Anky Van Grunsven and Bonfire. To date, Ferro has sired 10 licensed
sons,
including Metall, Kennedy, Rhodium, Lorenzo and Hilltop Rousseau,
Silver
Medalist at the FEI Young Dressage Horse Championships. Ferro’s
sire Ulft
descends from the same sire line that produced Furioso II and
his dam,
Brenda, was by Farn who sired KWPN Stallion of the Century, Nimmerdor.
DEJA BLUE B’s dam Song Sung Blue B has
already produced two BWP licensed
stallions—Deja Blue B and Blue Bayou B (by Simsalabim)
and a Premium,
performance tested daughter Apollonia B. Song Sung Blue
B’s sire Branco
was the first stallion in the U.S. to be fully licensed as a
Belgian
Warmblood breeding stallion. Recently deceased, Branco was a
grandson of the
legendary jumper sire Ramiro (aka G Ramiro Z), considered the
most
influential jumper sire of the last 50 years and sire of Olympic
Medalists
Ratina Z, Royal Kaliber, etc. and countless other international
competitors
and licensed sons including Rebel I & II Z, Robin I & II
Z, Ronald, Raphael,
Damiro, Ramino, Armstrong, Zeoliet, etc. BRANCO’S DAM, UGONDA,
produced two-time Olympian Freud, who competed under
the name Radisson Diamond. Ugonda’s half-sister Agnetha
(Le Mexico) produced
the sBs licensed stallion Elton III.
