jumpers on the Belgian young
horse circuit is by Richebourg,
who along with his sire Bayard
d'Elle (ISO 167) are from the
best female lines in France. In
his pedigree are the French
top inheritors like Double
Espoir, Grand Veneur and
Uriel.
Richebourg’s dam is one of
the best breeding mares in
history. She bred the approved
stallions Shogun, Jus de
Pommes, Quintus, Richebourg
and Tresor d' Opaline.
Since his importation to the
US, Obourg has placed in
numerous Grand Prix with
Olympian Lisa Jacquin, including
a third in $25,000 WEF
Challenge Cup Series in 2007.In 2007 Obourg placed 2nd in the Tournament
of
Champions in Canada. At the 2008 Wellington Equestrian
Festival, Obourg has placed in the top ten in 1.40m and
1.45m.
His offspring are excelling in Europe and we are excited
about his first US foal crop.
