Palladio's Dutch Warmblood pedigree
combines many famous horses from European warmblood
breeding into one colorful, talented stallion.
Palladio's sire, the Holsteiner Caletto I, was one of the top
horses showing in International Grand Prix jumping competitions
from 1981 to 1985 as well as a notable sire.
Palladio's dam, Jorinde, an Elite Dutch mare, competed in
both dressage and jumping before producing great foals.
Palladio's remarkable willingness became apparent
early in his training. He has been ridden and shown both by trainers
and his amateur owner. Palladio's show record include
competing and winning in Preliminary/Level 5 Jumpers,
showing successfully in the Regular Working Hunter ring,
and schooling 2nd/3rd level dressage. In 2002 he was the
Champion stallion in the Cosequin/USDF Northwest Series
Finals for Mature Stallions. His excellent character makes
him enjoyable to show and a pleasure to work around.
Palladio successfully completed the 2004 100 Day
Federation Stallion Testing in Ohio finishing sixth overall
with a super score of 111.97, and ranking fifth in dressage
(108.10) and sixth in jumping (116.26).
Palladio's first foal crops produced incredible
offspring, clearly inheriting their sire's willing temperament
and athleticism.
His first foals are currently coming under saddle and
we look forward to watching them follow in Palladio's footsteps
in the show ring.
For 2006, Palladio is approved for breeding with the
Belgian Warmblood Registry (BWP/NAD), International
Sporthorse Registry/Oldenburg North America, Rheinland Pfalz-Saar
International. Foals also may be registered with the
International Registry of Colored Horses and are eligible for
nomination to the International Jumper Futurity.
