Puerto D'Azur was born in
Belgium and imported to North America in 1997. In
1998 he became the 100 Day Test Champion with
scores of 132.73 in Dressage and 127.09 in jumping.
After the 100DT, he was in training with Bill Coester
who trained him up to low FEI level dressage. He
comes from the sire line of Azur Despaultra who has
numerous offspring doing upper level dressage as
well as jumping in North America and Europe. Azur
Despaultra sire, Grand Veneur, who has over 332 offspring
that are proven show jumping winners as well
as sired 75 fully approved stallions. Puerto D'Azur's
dam line of Jessy Girl is sired by Primo des Bruyeres
who sired Jus De Pomme the double gold Olympic
stallion of 1996 Atlanta Games as well as the Belgian
stallion Fantastique who you still see in many of the
BWP pedigrees in Europe today. Puerto D'Azur has
proven his ability to produce quality offspring with premium
ratings out of warmblood and thoroughbred
mares. In 2006 he was taken to the BWP re-inspection
where he received wonderful comments from the
judges on his fantastic jumping ability as well as overall
gaits. His offspring are training and or competing
in all areas of rated commotions, from Advanced level
Eventing, Hunter and/or jumper of different levels, to
Dressage of different levels. Please see our website

This stallion collects and ships very
well with super conception
rates for 2007, even on older or problem mares with an average
post motility rate of 70% at 24hr post ejaculation.
