Rolando is the son of Ramiro Z, one of the great sires in Europe. In 1992, Rolando was ranked #10 of young sires in Germany as the sire of jumpers, while he himself is a successful dressage horse. Rolando has outstanding conformation, short, strong back, and natural balance and grace. His kind eye shows his wonderful temperament. His foals are receiving 9.0 on their keuring scores, and one of his daughters, Rolanda, was a State Premium Mare, winning the jumping final of Oldenburg in 1992. Rolando is also the sire of Ranier, Robert Dover’s Dressage mount at the 2000 Olympic Games.
