Victus is a top talent, bringing new exciting blood to North American breeders! Combining the two highly successful stallions Blue Hors Farrell & Glock’s Zonik, Victus brings with him a family of proven FEI horses. His temperament is among the most desirable, making him a strong choice for breeders wanting to improve on temperament. He has 3 fabulous gaits and a strong topline. He also possesses a beautiful refinement. Judges had wonderful feedback on his overall quality at his stallion inspection. We are thrilled to represent this special stallion.
Victus’ sire, Blue Hors Farrell, stamps his offspring with great expression, a correct conformation in a modern type, spacious gaits with suppleness and rhythm, and in particular excellent temperament and great rideability. He unites conformation and function. Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Farrell won the Prix St Georges at the 2021 CDI Hagen.
Farrell was premium stallion at the 2013 Hanoverian Licensing and was sub-sequently approved as a premium stallion for Danish Warmblood the following year. He did extremely well in his 35-day performance test with 856.5 points and was awarded a 9 for trot and 9.5 for rideability. As a 6-year-old, he achieved a stellar 90.4 in qualifying for the DRF’s dressage championship with Allen Gron in the saddle. Since then, Nanna Skodborg Merrald has taken over the reins and she is very happy to have Farrell on her team. “He is really good in the head, very straightforward and extremely sweet and gentle. He is a very quick learner and does not stress over new exercises.”
His young BWP dam, Raissa vd Horne, is by Glock’s Zonik N.O.P. who was a very important, cornerstone at Glock’s Perfomance Stallions both as an exquisitebreeding stallion but also as a premier competition horse on the world stage. Zonik N.O.P. made his debut in the Indoor Bra-bant in 2015 as a 7-year-old earning over 78% in the Small Tour thrilling the spectators. He went on to also capture the Small Tour victory in the 2016 Dutch Championship garnering a fantastic 81.70%. Zonik N.O.P. made his international debut with Edward Gal in 2017 and went on to take the crown as Dutch Champion for three years in a row. In 2018, he competed in his first World Cup and represented the Dutch Team in both the 2018 Tryon World Equestrian Games and the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam where he was a key player in earning the team Silver Medal. CDIW Jumping Amsterdam is where Zonik and Gal went on to earn their personal best score with an 81.86% bringing the crowd to its feet in celebration.
