Bio and Performance Record: Jonsaunier Dwerse Hagen is a highend stallion with a passion for jumping. At a young age, he proved himself as one of the top competitors of his generation, winning the PAVO Stallion Festival Final being only 5 years old, as well as the Belgian Young Horse Final at 6. He got his first 1m40 ranking at 7 and participated in the World Championship in Lanaken. At 8, he jumped clear rounds at several 1m60 Grand Prix, thus qualifying for the Sire Of The World competition in Lanaken.
Jonsaunier’s lineage is equally impressive. He was sired by Vertigo Saint Benoit, a brilliant stallion that suffered an unfortunate career-ending injury young, but emerged as an excellent genitor. His grand father, Ogano Sitte, is considered as one of the best stallions in the world, passing scope and excellent technique to his foals. His dam, Whitney DH, has won several 1m60 Grand Prix herself.
Imported in 2018 to the US, Jonsaunier was quick to adapt to his new environment and is very well balanced mentally. His physical abilities are quite extraordinary, and his behavior is exemplary for a young stallion. Ridden by an amateur, he immediately showed good results in the 1m40 classes and finished 3rd in the Welcome Stake in Sonoma 1.40m. In addition to all that, his coat sports unique coloring and marking, which makes him a truly unforgettable sire. We are very lucky to have this prodigious stallion in our barn.
